Many people watch the lives of others through the lens of social media, thinking they know everything, when all they know is what they piece together.
When the truth of a person’s life is revealed, we often see that we didn’t know them at all. God is the only judge. If you aren’t in someone’s life, in their real life, not their online life, face to face with them, talking and asking questions, it is wrong to make assumptions.
Gossip can ruin a person’s life. We must not gossip, and if we have, we must ask forgiveness and do our best not to continue this behavior.
